Peter Moy
BE Civil First Class Hons

For the past 20 years Peter has been involved in the design, documentation, preparation of tenders and supervision of the construction of civil, stormwater & environmental infrastructure projects. He has been involved with many of the larger residential subdivisions in the Illawarra as well as recent experience in the ACT.

Peter has extensive experience in contract administration of major developments as well as supervising a number of RTA construction projects, including an interchange at the Princes Highway at Haywards Bay and a roundabout on the Illawarra Highway at Albion Park under the RTA QA Construction Specifications.

Peter is a Water Servicing Coordinator with Sydney Water where he is accredited to design and project manage water and sewer reticulation projects including vacuum sewer, low pressure sewer and recycled water. His specialty is in greenfield sites for large development projects.

David Laing

David has more than 17 years of experience in both local government and consulting and has qualifications in natural resources, planning and environmental law. David started his career in local government and has practised in consulting for more than 12 years.

He was the former Vice President of the Planning Institute of Australia (NSW Division) and has represented the Institute on a number of organisations including Central Wollongong Planning Reference Group, Wollongong Futures and served on numerous other organisational committees. David was also the principal author for the Institute's submission on a number of major policy reforms including Part III EPAA and Illawarra Regional Strategy.

Peter Shoemark
Dip Sys Admin, MACS, PCP

Peter has 25 years of experience in:

  • GIS / CAD interoperability solutions for multiple data formats
  • 3D CAD / GIS modelling of large Greenfield sites for bulk form analysis
  • Analytical GIS maps
  • Structural and Materials handling drafting
  • IT Network installation, maintenance and management
  • Database implementation, maintenance and management

Chris Hadenham
BE MIEAust CPEng

Chris is a Structural/Civil Engineer with more than 30 years consulting experience. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and a registered Chartered Professional Engineer, a Member of the Concrete Institute of Australia and is actively involved Engineers Australia ISRG Committee.

Chris has wide experience in structural engineering design, construction, contract documentation and specification of heavy industrial structures in mining, steelmaking, aluminium smelting and petrochemical installations, rail and road infrastructures, airport and port infrastructure and commercial and residential developments. Consulting experience with Cardno Forbes Rigby since 2004 has included design management, design and supervision.

Particular emphasis is placed on achieving functional and economic engineering solutions with attention to buildability and construction details.

Mark Klein
BE, Assoc Dip Surv, MIEAust

Mark has 16 years experience in all aspects of rural and residential land development including planning, survey, civil design, construction and contract project management. Mark began his land development career as a surveyor in a consultancy practice on the NSW South Coast where he was involved in carrying out engineering and cadastral surveys for rural and residential land development subdivisions. He then progressed to undertaking civil designs for all forms of residential civil engineering infrastructure and now acts as Project Director for both small and large rural and residential subdivisions from approval through to completion. Since re-joining Cardno Wollongong in 2006, Mark has become involved in two of the largest residential subdivisions being undertaken by Cardno Wollongong being Haywards Bay for Winten Property Group and Bayswood Vincentia for Stockland.

Anthony Barthelmess
MEng (Civil), CP, SSSI

Anthony has 13 years experience in a wide range of land development and water engineering projects. He is fully competent at 1D and 2D surface water modelling and 3D groundwater modelling. Anthony has appeared on numerous occasions as an expert witness in Land & Environment Court proceedings relating to flooding and floodplain management is an invited guest lecturer at the University of Wollongong on water quality. He is actively involved in the water industry and is a member of the development team for WBNM, a widely used hydrology runoff-routing model. Anthony is the author/co-author of many technical papers, and his work has been recognised through several state awards and one national award. Anthony is presently co-authoring a new chapter for the revised edition of Australian Rainfall & Runoff on culvert blockage, and has delivered water engineering solutions on major Part 3A projects to key clients such as BHP Illawarra Coal, Stockland Developments, and local government authorities.

Roger Collins-Woolcock
BE (Civil) (First Class Hons), MBA (Technology Management), APESMA via Deakin University, MIEAust, RPEQ, AWA, IPWEA, AIM, UDIA

Roger brings over 20 years of civil engineering experience to his role as General Manager of the New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and New Zealand Divisions. Through his vision and leadership Roger has played an instrumental role in the acquisition and expansion of several Cardno branches including Cardno & Davies in Hervey Bay. In his position Roger is responsible for managing and coordinating sixteen Cardno offices and overseeing numerous key projects, positioning Cardno to meet the industry demands of South-East Australia and New Zealand. In addition to his professional experience in Australia Roger has worked in Canada and Papua New Guinea.
